Zersenay Tadese, Eritrea’s flag bearer at the Olympic closing
London , Aug. 12. – Zersenay Tadese, half-marathon world record holder (58:23), will be the leader of Eritrea in the closing ceremony, replacing another athlete, Rehaset Mehari, said the organizing committee.
Tadese, which has been ranked sixth in the 10,000 meters final London 2012 Olympic bronze medalist in Athens 2004 and runner-up world in Berlin 2009.
