Students in Warsai-Yikealo Secondary School conduct Student Week
Sawa, February 2013 – Students in Warsai-Yikealo Secondary School, Sawa, have conducted Student Week with a view to ensuring groundwork for exchange of experience and revitalization of their academic and vocational capacities.
Various activities such as sports contests, carnival show, general knowledge contest, fashion show, arts contest and seminar were staged during the event.
Mr. Daniel Eyasu, head of the NUEYS branches in higher education institutions and Sawa, said that such event is a good opportunity to depict the nation’s cultural diversity. Furthermore, Lt. Colonel Samuel Kidane, head of education and training in Sawa, presented in-depth briefings regarding the activities of the school. Students who demonstrated outstanding performances in the contests also received awards. (Shabait)
