Beautiful voice..wish you much success!
I’m profoundly touched by Lela’s interview. The feeling is indescribable for twofold. Not only that she is deprived of both of her parents, martyrs of the Eritrean armed struggle, but also she has shoulder the burden of raising her younger sister.
This burden of responsibility had forced her to terminate her musical studies, after following the program for two years, in order to raise her younger sister who is now attending college.
However, her perseverance in life allowed her to succeeded in her artistic endeavour as a singer in several languages such as Tigrigna, Arabic, and Tigre. This is the case where good things happen to good people as the saying goes.
I really have enjoyed her humble interview, her soft language, her timid approach, her polite manner of thanking everyone who have helped her on her journey, and her extraordinary beautiful face.
Lela, wish you success
