EPPF has attacked a Woyane army captain and destroyed his entire military unit on june 28, 2010 in the northern region of Ethiopia, a place called Tach Armach Woreda. Several weapons were also captured.
According to EPPF, the Ethiopian people have realized that the ruling party will not leave power by peaceful means, and people from all regions continue to join the movement.
