Al-Sulaiti exchanging documents with Ahmed after signing an agreement

Mowasalat yesterday signed an agreement with Eritrea in order to supply Karwa buses for transportation in the Eritrean capital of Asmara.
The Eastern African country’s ambassador to Qatar Ali Ibrahim Ahmed exchanged documents with Mowasalat chairman Jassim Saif al-Sulaiti to seal the agreement at a meeting held at Mowasalat headquarters.
The agreement to supply buses to transport corporation of another country is the first of its kind to be made by Mowasalat, Jassim al-Sulaiti said.
The Mowasalat official said, as per the agreement, the Qatar’s transport company will deliver 40 buses to Eritrea in early 2011. The buses will be utilised for public transportation in Asmara. Along with public transport buses, some luxury coaches will also be supplied to Eritrea, he added.
Mowasalt will also provide training to staff of the Eritrean transport
corporation.
Besides al-Sulaiti, senior Mowasalat officials, including financial director Waleed Raslan al-Abdullah, executive director Ahmed Busherbak al-Mansouri, administration manager Ali Abdullah Behzad and marketing manager (fleet) Nasser al-Khanji, were also present.
