The participants who traveled long hours from various cities to take part in the demonstration assembled in front of the Office  of the US Secretary of State chanting different slogans denouncing the vicious resolution and calling for its annulment.

The demonstration that was transmitted live via ERI-TV and Dimtsi Hafash also attracted the attention and coverage of a number of media outlets.

The participants stated that the Eritrean people would never kneel down as a result of external hostility, and asserted that they would fulfill what is expected of them in backing up the national resolute rebuff.

The nationals and foreign friends of Eritrea who took active participation in the demonstration to echo the voice of truth and justice through enduring  all challenges and extremely cold weather submitted petition representing over 100,000 signatories to pertinent US State Department officials denouncing the unjust sanctions resolution.

Also as part of the worldwide demonstration, tens of thousands of Eritrean citizens staged demonstration in San Francisco city on the same day expressing readiness to foil enemy acts of hostility and reinforce the national resolute rebuff. Furthermore, they expressed conviction that Eritrea would keep on marching along the course of progress and prosperity on the basis of independent path. (Shabait)
