VIDEO: (Phase 3) 2009 Tour of Eritrea cycling race reportage

Asmara, 18 December 2009 – The 3rd phase of the “Tour Eritrea 2009” cycling race continued today in which Eritrean cyclist Daniel Teklehaimanot stood first by finishing the race in 3 hrs.:32 minutes and 25 seconds.

Today’s race covered 151 Km. from Dekemhare-Asmara-Nefasit and onwards to Massawa. Eritrean cyclists Frekalsi Debesai, Meron Russom, Bereket Yemane and Natnael Berhane stood from 2nd to 5th respectively, while Moroccan cyclist Abdul-Ati ranked 6th followed by Eritrean cyclists Mel’ake Kahsai, Egyptian Sherif Abdalla, Eritrean Aklilu Haile, Egyptian Ahmed Hafaz from 7th to 10th respectively.

Tomorrow’s 4th phase racing would cover the distance  from Massawa to Gahtelai, Ginda and onwards to Asmara. The 5th and final phase is also scheduled to take place on 20 December in the streets of Asmara City.

More than 40 cyclists are taking part in the “Tour Eritrea 2009” race from Eritrea, Sudan,Libya, Morocco, Kenya and Saudi Arabia.

    wowwwwww it is amezing game  god blesse to all eritrean cyclist . but i want to say same thing to eri tv  to tell as  how much kilometer per hour they are riding  in mountins and leavel area to compeir with international cyclyst  just to know how much they are perfect  with  other international cyclist  but i am very  very happy god bless to our peopel and goverement  of eritrea  awet nehafash
