VIDEO: (Phase 2) 2009 Tour of Eritrea cycling race reportage

2nd Phase Of “Tour Eritrea 2009” Concludes With Victory Of Eritrean Cyclists
Asmara, 17 December 2009 – The 2nd phase of “Tour Eritrea 2009” concluded today with victory of Eritrean cyclists.

The Eritrean cyclists scored from 1st to 7th rank in the race that covered 156 kilometers from Mendefera to Adi-Quala, and subsequently from Asmara to Dekemhare.

Cyclist Dawit Haile stood first by finishing the race in 4hrs. 3seconds 20minuts followed by Aklilu Kahsai, Amanuel Kibreab, Frekalsi Debesai, Yonas Zerai, Daniel Teklehaimanot and Bereket Yemane, respectively standing from 2nd to 7th. Moroccan cyclist Abdulati Sa’adun, Melake Kahsai and Moroccan cyclist Mohammed Sa’ad Alamuni ranked 8th to 10th respectively.

It is to be recalled that Eritrean cyclists registered splendid victory by scoring top 10 rank yesterday. 

The third phase of “Tour Eritrea 2009” cycling race would continue tomorrow covering 155 kilometers from Dekemhare to Asmara and onwards to Nefasit and Massawa.

    I love it  keep it up Guys  …..i heard the eritrean cycling was planiing to come to Canada…did any one knows  what happen  ?  i was so exited about the news ……..
