It’s funny–how the raimoc ppl judge the songs. What happened to wedi tikabo, korchach,, and helen great songs that were sang during independence..this year I would say Korchach should win it. SHAME ON YOU RAIMOC..YOU NEED BETTER EVALUATORS (SOME ONE WHO HAS COMMON SENSE)..TOO MANY NARA, AND HIDAREB WINNERS

Korchach should have win it this year with WOLEDO LOMI. Where is Wedi Tkabo???? I mean it is a big shame. I have to say I am very dissapointed of the judges. Very dissapointed, It is a big shame.
How come senait come second place with Ajibeni??? Soory, but I can’t believe it at all. For me Woledo Lomi was the true winner this year.
What is going on noo tigre or bilen songs vere awarded this year.. Fatna Ibrahim had a lot of good songs.
Mistir’ta orTrack 4 from Fatna’s album should have been awarded here. Wedi Tkabo has a brilliant CD with good songs. Where are they? I can’t believe it at all.. And Lia Bairu had a lot of good songs like Sam Hani and tezareb… As WEDI ASMARA said shame on u Raimoc.

Response to zebiHere maytemenay: Tesfalem (Qorchach’s) CD came out in early 2008 and his single song “aminki’do” won fourth place in 2008 Raimoc Awards. Keep in mind that the judges have to consider all ethinc groups and rising new artists. Congratulations to Senait Amine and Temesghen Taniqo and to the Nara song vocalist!

Response to Gual Asmara, Wedi T’kabo’s new CD will compete in next year’s Raimoc Awards since it was released few weeks ago. abti me’etewi nayti wudidir mebrihi hibu neyru eti announcer b’za’Eba eti Elet nay ti n’raimoc zwedadera derfitat. The way I understand it, the raimoc judges are trying to give a chance to new artists instread of just warding to recognized Artists such as Wedi Tikabo, Helen Meles, Elsa Kidane and so on… I hope that clears your question.

you can not judge if you dont have enough education about music.My fevouret ever artist is wedi tkabo but the juges know the music better than I do.Thats why I cannot personaly put my jugment on them.
