Why have they changed the format of this year's Shingrwa? Shingrwa should have been a search of a hidden unknown star from the average Joe. If they allow all singers to participate, then it could end up a face off between the already known stars. Helen Meles, Korchach, Wedi Sheikh, all these are stars; however, according to the new Shingrwa format they can participate, and I believe this will destroy the taste of looking for the unknown singing sensation- a star/gem. Why have they changed the format of this year’s Shingrwa? Shingrwa should have been a search of a hidden unknown star from the average Joe.
