VIDEO: Horrific Story from Egypt by Eritrean Migrants

Eritrean nationals, who returned home from Egypt, described the horrific nature of their journey. Many had high hopes of a better opportunity on the other side of the border, but the journey was a hard learned lesson to those who survived it. Several lost their lives on the Sahara desert, on their way to Egypt, others were robbed of all their money – they were offered a transportation aid to Libya with an exchange of up to $900 US dollars, which never happened. Yet, others were shot at, thrown into jail and treated in the most inhumane way possible. The nationals were pleasantly surprised at the warm hospitality extended to them upon arrival to their homeland, Eritrea.
